Oral health knowledge, attitude and practices among medical students

AIM: Aim of the study was to evaluate oral health knowledge, attitude and practices among medical students. Objective: To assess towards Oral personal professional Material Methods: A cross sectional survey conducted using structured self-administered 20 item questionnaire, as Google form all students ESIC, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad. All completely filled in forms within 15 days were included study. Descriptive statistics computed data presented tables graphs. Results: total 250 out 400 participants had submitted questionnaire. whom 40% (100) males 60% (150) females. About 58% (145) a dental visit previously. About48% (120) experienced gum bleeding. 28% (71) opted refer patient with facial swelling general surgeon instead dentist. 56% (140) felt untreated pain may lead serious life threatening condition. 74% (185) visiting dentist would give them correct information about issues.
